How to Cite a Website using Easybib

all right today I’m gonna be talking about how to take one of your research paper sources and put it into correct MLA format using EasyBib it’s extremely easy and fast to do all right so here I have one of my one of my sources it’s an article on fast food is it the enemy all right so this is one of the sources our Muse I’ve taken some information out of here I put it in my research paper I need now I need to put this into my work cited page and I need to format the information correctly so real simple you go up to the address bar and highlight the URL go control copy or you can simply go edit copy open up a new tab and go to once that opens up again very simply there’s different ways that you can cite sources if you have a book you would click book video journal so forth but we’re citing a website so I click in the box there and I go ctrl V to paste it or I go edit and paste my source my information is in there I click cite it I click cite it this again now it’s gonna give up some information it’s gonna give us two two types of information here’s what we found so they’ve they’ve found the website title they found the article title and the date that that I accessed it then there’s this other information that we need help with so we need to figure out who the publisher is when it was electronically published and the author’s so we go to the editing this final step is this editing page so first thing is we want to try to find is there an author go back to my source and sure enough here is my author so go back to EasyBib I type in author’s first name was Sara last name was Montel alright the next thing I’m looking for is a publisher or sponsor and go back to my source and I’m looking up here if there’s any type of sponsor or publisher not seeing anything the best place to look for that is right down here in the bottom left hand corner this the C with a circle means copyright and it’s obesity Action Coalition so I go back to EasyBib and now one real quick thing if I couldn’t find a if I couldn’t find a publisher then I simply put n NP in dot P I would put n P in for no publisher okay but we do have a publisher and it is the obesity Action Coalition okay now the next piece of information that they need is when was this webpage when was this article electronically published again I go up here I look for anything any type of date when it was published I’m not seeing anything so I go back to the bottom of the page and again this copyright symbol and it gives me a date 2016 go back to EasyBib and i just type in 2016 i’ve got all the information that it said that it needed help from I go cite this create the citation and there’s my properly formatted mla citation that i can now put into my work cited page
